Traditional or Modern? Well, my patterns are a mix of both. I love making traditional quilt blocks with the use of high contrast colors and easy chain piecing for busy quilters.

As you probably guessed, I am Aly.
I am the owner of Aly Wilson Quilts. That is just one of the many hats I wear in a day. Mom to a sassy 11-year-old daughter, wife to an amazing husband of 22 years and pet mom are just to name a few others. If that doesn’t keep my busy, I also work as an emergency room nurse on my free time.
Crafting has always been a creative outlet for me. Quilting definitely sparked a fire in my soul. I enjoy all steps of the process from putting pen to paper designing a pattern to curling up with a warm cup of coffee sewing on the binding.
Don’t worry…I am not all work and no play. Spending time with my family is always my priority. If we are not at the bowling alley, we are packed in our camper traveling together. (Yes! I take my sewing machine camping!)
